Application is a breeze – it doesn’t take more than a minute to blend it in properly. If you really want a picture-perfect, airbrushed, flawless look, then use the Armani Blender brush to put it on and watch how effortlessly it makes your face look immaculate.

Luminous Silk is oil-free and – one of the best things about it – available in a fantastically generous range of shades. The coverage is buildable and sheer-to-moderate, so if you’re looking for a heavy-duty foundation to mask serious inperfections, this one isn’t for you.

This colour is absolutely gorgeous. Black Honey is a little intimidating when you look at it in the case because it appears almost black – hence the name.

But just try a little on and look at what happens: It will wear on you as this extremely sheer, beestung red, enhancing your natural lip colour so you look as if you’ve been biting your lips – very bloodshot and incredibly hot.

So is it a lipstick? Not really, it’s not so waxy. Is it a lip gloss? Not anywhere near sticky enough. So what, exactly, is it? Think of it as a lip balm, albeit a highly-pigmented one.

The downside? It doesn’t last long, especially if you are eating/drinking/kissing. But part of the fun of lipstick is re-applying it, so it’s really not so bad.

Perfect for girls who don’t usually wear make up, and even more perfect for girls who go for the very cheeky “makeup – what makeup?” look.

One of the beauty industry’s bestselling eye products, YSL Faux Cils has wholly earned its holy grail reputation by being an absolutely amazing mascara. No matter how short, stubby, or sparse your eyelashes are, YSL Faux Cils will make them long, thick, and dramatic. The effect is fully buildable – so one layer for a simple yet striking fluttery effect, two layers for more va-va-voom, and three layers for full, sweepy, oh-my-God-those-can’t-be-real lashes.

And the best part? No clumping. That’s right, you can layer it and layer it and it won’t turn into some unholy gloopy mess.
